Description: Functional dyspepsia (FD) is a common disorder; however no therapy is highly effective. Herbal preparations such as STW5 (Iberogast) may be efficacious, however its benefit against proton pump inhibitor (PPI) therapy, is unknown. We therefore examined the efficacy of Iberogast, PPI & placebo in patients with FD.
