- University-industry partnerships are strategically important for many different reasons, including expanding the capacity to commercialise research. However, what sounds simple in theory scarcely does justice to the complexity of developing partnerships in practice, despite the synergies and benefits for each party. Besides there is insufficient evidence to attest to how best to maximise outcomes and practice for partnerships.
