- Description
- To produce her images, Lee launders uses her brushes, charcoal, sandpaper, rags, and angle grinder almost like weapons. She has had a love affair with this arsenal for many years. Intuitive and instinctive, what is it that interests Lee when she launches into a new work? It isn't so much the subject matter, although that certainly figures in the scheme of things. It is the surface and what lays beneath that dictates her forensic investigation. There is an inherent need to delve deep down to the heart of the matter.
